Macro-International

Housed in the Center for Economic Research, the Macro-International program supports research, teaching and dissertation supervision as part of the Department of Economics at the George Washington University.

Our Macroeconomics group investigates technical change, economic growth, institutions and regulations, alongside critical issues such as inflation, unemployment and commodity price dynamics. Meanwhile, our International Finance group analyzes international capital flows, distortions in capital markets, the domestic and global banking sectors, currency and sovereign debt crises and the interplay between exchange rate regimes and monetary policy.
